Client Services Specialist

McKay Brothers, a provider of specialty telecom and financial market data, has an immediate opening for a Client Services Specialist at the Company’s US headquarters in Oakland, California.

The Client Services Specialist will be responsible for onboarding and providing ongoing customer service to our institutional clients. Candidates with technical client support experience in financial services will excel in this role.

Minimum requirements include:

  • 5+ years’ experience with client onboarding, client management, and/or workflow management;
  • Advanced proficiency using CRM tool such as Salesforce, and MS Excel;
  • Experience with MS Word, Google Suite, Adobe;
  • BS or BA from a four-year university or college;
  • Financial Services experience.

 

As a Client Services Specialist you will:

  • Work directly with new market data clients via email, navigating each through the onboarding process;
  • Manage client lifecycle including, but not limited to contract management, ongoing communication, execution of administrative and client-related tasks, and ad-hoc projects;
  • Contribute to ongoing internal project management, tracking, invoicing, and reporting;
  • Maintain exchange compliance guidelines through proper market data reporting and participate in exchange audits when required;
  • Develop rapport with counterparties at client firms and collaborate with data centers, exchanges and vendors;
  • Collaborate with internal sales, accounting, legal, and management teams to anticipate and react to client service requests and issues.

  • Thrives in a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Self-starter who can deliver under pressure, balance competing priorities and follow tasks through to completion.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. This is a remote (2d)/on-site (3d) hybrid, full-time position located in uptown Oakland, CA.
