Metro Wireless Networks

Metro Connectivity Unlike Any Other

McKay's New Jersey and Illinois Metro Networks Offer Clients Exclusive Use of an Auctioned Wireless Band

Operating Metro wireless networks between financial exchanges is a unique challenge. They are densely registered wireless corridors, with many competitors. Network paths were all mostly perfect. Radio frequency interference from other users is a considerable risk.

McKay approached this challenge in New Jersey and Illinois by acquiring the exclusive use of an auctioned frequency band. Before being able to commercialize this asset, McKay first had to design and engineer radios capable of meeting the exacting standards of its clients. McKay launched their Metro services in 2019 with networks that had greater capacity, better serialization and better reliability than any competitor. NJ Metro subscribers can purchase bandwidth on any of three services, tailored to meet their particular needs for latency and reliability.
